WPYC’s Public Relations Committee is the source for everything people could ever want to know about WPYC. This committee is in charge of biannual newsletters about WPYC, the WPYC promo video, newspaper inserts/editorials, and the website. Every year this committee identifies a new direction. In 2001, the Public Relations Committee worked closely with Gardner Design to create a new logo for WPYC as well as design a new website. In the future, this committee hopes to share the accomplishments and the mission of Wichita’s Promise Youth Council through additional sources of media and campaigns. This committee’s ongoing goal is to increase the community’s awareness of WPYC and make sure that youth have a voice in the community.
