WPYC is a group of teens from Wichita and the surrounding areas that work to make things better for the youth of Sedgwick County. WPYC does this by making sure the youth voice is heard in the community and by giving youth a chance to take action on community issues through rallies, retreats, and other youth-led activities.

*Throughout the site, Wichita’s Promise Youth Council may be referred to as WPYC or Youth Council. Also, all of the activities mentioned are developed and carried out by the members of WPYC. Basically, WPYC establishes its own projects and its direction based on the needs of the community.
